Pomegranates are mentioned in the Bible as one of the fruits that Israel was to be blessed with in the promise land (Deuteronomy 8:8). I like them because they are pretty and their seeds are delicious! I bought one at the grocery store this weekend for $2.48, little did it know that I would draw it and Preston and I would eat it..

I just read the other day that pomegranates are good for your teeth! If I remember correctly they are antibacterial and serve a similar purpose as chlorohexidine. You know, just one more reason to like pomegranates =)
